 You are invited to attend the
Silver Jubilee of the Cornea and Eye Bank Meeting to be held in Brisbane, Queensland,
from 21-22 February 2008. The Eye Bank Association of Australia and New Zealand
will hold its meeting on Wednesday, 20 February. The Scientific Meeting
will be officially opened by the Hon. Stephen Robertson, MP, Queensland
Minister for Health on Thursday, 21 February at 8.45am. A dinner will
be held that night.
The meeting will be held at the Novotel
Hotel, Creek Street,
Brisbane. The Novotel is
ideally located at the top end of town, with a panoramic outlook over
the central business, shopping and entertainment district. It is a
short walk from the centre of Brisbane
and 15 kms from the international and domestic air terminals. Both
trains and taxis offer direct services from the airport with Central
Railway Station being only 150 metres from the Hotel.
A full programme of speakers has been planned. The programme is a 'work
in progress' and will be posted and updated regularly on the website.
The programme will incorporate new and exciting topics with interesting
and thought-provoking speakers. Tentative program can be found here.
